I received an anti-phishing email from Ledger during the holiday season. And I thought it would be valuable to share this here to prevent heartache.

Phishing Scams, Know the Warning Signs
Fraudsters pretend to be someone you trust
Cybercriminals often impersonate legitimate companies, government agencies, or even law enforcement. They may contact you through emails, text messages, social media, phone calls, or convincing fake websites.
Their objective is to trick you into revealing sensitive information, especially your Secret Recovery Phrase.
Recognize the warning signs
Stay cautious if you notice poor spelling or grammar, unfamiliar email addresses, unexpected messages, or urgent requests demanding immediate action. Be particularly wary of anyone asking you to verify your wallet, account, or personal information.
Your Secret Recovery Phrase belongs only to you
Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone. No legitimate organization, including Ledger, will ever ask for it through email, phone, chat, or direct message.
For maximum security, never enter your Secret Recovery Phrase on a computer, smartphone, or website. Store it offline in a secure location where only you have access.
Stay informed and protect yourself
The more you understand phishing tactics, the easier they are to spot. Visit the Ledger Academy to learn about the latest scams, security best practices, and current phishing campaigns before they catch you off guard.
